Stéphane Belzère develops a current pictorial work fed by the observation of scientific, medical and patrimonial collections. Through painting, he interprets anatomical casts, herbariums, museum objects or preserved species, revealing their strangeness and their evocative puissance. His work questions our relationship with knowledge, memory and representation of life.
