As part of PAC - Provence Contemporary Art Festival, solə hosts the new solo show of Marcos Uriondo, curated by David Pons.
KiloShow turns the exhibition space into a ghost second-hand clothes shop, conceived as an autobiographical portrait of the artist through clothes that refer to his artistic tastes, cities he lived in or personal and working experience. The T-shirts are unique pieces, each pattern being painted with various sauces (spicy oil for pizza, tabasco, burnt honey, beetroot juice, balsamic vinegar, salt soy sauce, burnt caramel, olive oil, sriracha sauce…).
The installation explores the emotional residue carried by second-hand clothing, treating T-shirts as social objects haunted by cycles of production, consumption, and reuse.
The exhibition is produced with the support of solə and Beaux-Arts de Marseille and the collaboration of Baptist Gheeraert and Carla Aouad.
