María Dávila l Musée CajaGranada

Pour la nouvelle édition du festival d’art contemporain FACBA17, María Dávila a été sélectionnée pour travailler sur un projet basé sur les collections de l’Université de Grenade. Après avoir choisi un album de photographies anonymes des années 1940-1960, elle a réalisé une série de dessins et de peintures qui explorent les relations entre la reproduction photographique et l’œuvre d’art, entre réalité et fiction.

For the new edition of FACBA17 (Festival de Artes Contemporáneas), María Dávila has been selected to work on a project based on the collection of the University of Granada. After having chosen an anonymous family album from the 40s-60s, she has realized a series of drawings and paintings which explores the boundaries between photographic reproduction and artwork, reality and fiction.
