Born in 1957, she lives and works in Paris.
She realizes sculptures in thermoplastic and organdy, the sheerest cotton cloth from a traditional work of pattern, seam and embroidery.
Her work is focused on signs of contemporaneousness, still lives or portraits of real people filled with urban cultures. Emblematic of her sculptures, the white color emphasizes their fragility and give shapes to fullness and emptiness. Incarnated in a fabric envelope, her subjects show in the same time their presence and their absence.
Her technique borrows from the one of a couturier, sculptor and surgeon. The white diaphanous material is the support of a real story, a metamorphosed description of her surrounding world. Her objects are crystallization, ultimate pictures of objects or people getting away from reality before disappearing.
